600 denier fabric with PU coating and water repelling treatment. Stretch panels above the knees for superior flexibility. Waterproof and breathable design with nylon lining and taped seams. Vented mesh panels. Waist and leg adjustment. 1200-denier poly fabric reinforcements on the seat and knees with PU coating and water repelling treatment. Reflective piping for increased visibility. PU injected logos. Knee protector compartment with foam padding. (CE certified knee protector available as an accessory.)

Comments about Alpinestars AST-1 Drystar Pantsgood for cool and/or wet weather riding.... don't breathe , so they aren't good for hot weather....liner is not removeable...... good fit, light weight..... My pair came with one seam that the stitching had missed.... Had to take them to a seamstress to have them sewn together , not a big deal...... padding is light weight but comfortable....... good pants for the price......

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Alpinestars AST-1 Drystar PantsI haven't been on the bike yet, so I can't speak about the outdoor elements; but I can say these fit very well - I am 6' with a 34" waist and long legs and I think these will not ride up too much on my SV650 as the bottom cuffs drag on the floor while I'm in my socks (size medium). They are comfortable, seem to breath well. The adjustable velcro tabs on either side of the waist make a custom fit. They look good too; casual - not too "sporty". Recommended, especially if on sale.
