From the new Alpinestars/Dorna co-branded MotoGP® range, the Jerez leather jacket like the track itself represents the heart and soul of the collection.

Colorful, sharp, edgy and technically advanced the jacket encapsulates the essence of one of MotoGP’s spiritual homes.

Features:

Constructed using a combination of full grain and perforated leather for the ultimate in strength, durability, abrasion resistance and comfort.
Stretch Kevlar® panels in the arms provide freedom of movement while YKK zippers ensure a tight, yet comfortable and secure closure around the wrist.
The jacket includes a number of comfort features including pre curved sleeves for a natural riding position which reduces fatigue, while a leather accordion flex zone on the waist allows for an adaptable, tight and comfortable fit.
Perforated leather on the body and arm provide class leading ventilation.
A removable thermal inner liner allows for convenient climate control.
Alpinestars CE approved armor provides the leather jacket with high levels of protection, Protectors are located on the shoulder and around the elbow/forearm zone, the jacket provides protection at all the critical areas.
Additional protection is available through the use of Alpinestars RC back protector (available as a separate accessory) when inserted into the specifically constructed internal compartment.
The jacket is also fitted with an aerodynamic hump for improved comfort and performance at speed.
The jacket features a host of MotoGP® & Alpinestars distinctively placed logos for optimum impact and appeal to fans of the series.
A zip located at the base of the jacket allows for connection to a range of Alpinestars leather pants.
The jacket benefits from both internal and external storage. Two external jacket pockets are complimented by three internal storage compartments within both the main jacket lining and duplicated in the removable liner for complete convenience.

Comments about Alpinestars MotoGP Jerez Leather JacketI am living in Newfoundland where it tends to get a little chilly around late August, September. This jacket is perfect for the summer season where we see around 25-30 degree weather (I have the liner taken out). I have yet to get cold in this jacket even with the liner taken out. The measurements given by the manufacturer are perfect and I fit right into the size I ordered. The jacket looks very good and if you're living in a place where the weather tends to be a little cooler, this jacket will do the job. It also feels very safe with the armor in the elbows,shoulders and also in the chest and back of the jacket. The hump on the back of the jacket is also the perfect size. The armor doesn't make the jacket feel bulky or uncomfortable at all. Overall, very good jacket for a casual rider, may be a little too warm in some climates, but if your climate is similar to Newfoundland this jacket is highly recommended.
