  Comments about Alpinestars RC-1 Textile JacketThis jacket is very stylish, looks great! IMPORTANT: order one size up! All alpinestars jackets are made small.. So if they go by S M L XL etc Order one size up. I'm 5'8" 185lbs and fit in Joe Rockets and ICONs medium. But forget alpinestars I could zip it up but couldn't move in it what so ever Also be sure to get a level 1 or 2 back protector. Because alpinestars jackets usually do not come with one and they just put a shinny piece of sponge!! :S our back is important people! Our spine.... Nerves.. Hello! Be smart be safe :) Great summer jacket

  Comments about Alpinestars RC-1 Textile JacketThe fit and finish are top-notch. Excellent value for money. I needed a jacket to supplement my Bristol leather during the hottest summer months for city riding in the hot and humid weather in Southern Ontario, and this jacket fits the bill. Great breathability, good fit and very comfortable. My only beefs are that the elbow-pad inserts tend to shift a little, but not in such a way as to interfere with my movements, and the collar chafes a little, which is easily remedied by wearing a thin scarf. Recommended.

  Comments about Alpinestars RC-1 Textile JacketThis is was my first motorcycle jacket purchase to go with my first motorcycle. Great jacket for warm or colder weather. I would say 10-15 degrees with the liner in and 15+ with the liner out. I can easily fit the liner under the seat of my Kawasaki ZX-6R in case the weather changes. The liner is not overly warm, it is just used to close off the mesh panels. I am 200lbs, 6'2 and i wear a large (there were a couple videos on Youtube that helped me out). I don't like how it rides up a bit in the back when i am in a tucked riding position, I am a little taller than the Large size is made for, so I bought the Tech spoiler to zip onto it. I only wear the spoiler when I know I will be tucked, I don't need it around town when i am sitting upright. Overall i am very happy with the jacket; it's very stylish, fits good, safe, and comfortable.
