Alpinestars all-new, purpose-built S-MX R Boot seamlessly blends classic Alpinestars racing performance, flexibility and protection with real world practicality, lightweight and comfort in a fully perforated version providing unprecedented air circulation. All things considered, the S-MX R is the ultimate performance/road riding that is every bit at home on the street as it is on the racetrack.

Features:

A contoured shin plate protector is injected with high modulus PU for superior impact and abrasion resistance
Streamlined air scoops increase ventilation
U-shaped calf protector is impact resistant and shields both the ankle and calf area
Additional adjustability and security is provided by the top recessed buckle structure
Enhanced ventilation via lateral air scoops
Injected PU flexible panel guards the internal Achilles tendon
Interchangeable bi-injected PU toe slider with snap-in assembly
Wide and ventilated injected PU heel counter is combined with an internal shock absorbing padded insert and self molding foam ankle guard
Inside heel grip pad for additional feeling with the motorcycle
New shift pad area over-injected with soft PU large instep flex zone for maximum comfort and flexibility
Micro fiber upper
Instep lateral zipper closure, in conjunction with a large flap leads to an easy entry and exit
New internal user-friendly calf adjustment allows added comfort for larger calves
Replaceable ratchet buckle closure on the calf features a hidden strap for added security
Synthetic forefoot lining laminated with open cell foam
Highly breathable lining on ankle and leg areas
A replaceable contoured foot bed sculpted from Alpinestars PU foam provides enhanced arch support and increased forefoot pedal feeling
The sole has been designed for improved feeling between the contact points of the rider’s feet and foot pegs

Comments about Alpinestars S-MX R Boots - VentedThese boots are fairly comfortable and breathe well. Do note that they are not made of leather, but a synthetic leather material. The snowboard like shoe clamp on the side has not ratchet action, you have to push it in and the tab just releases. The toe protector does protect the toe area and is quite stylish

Comments about Alpinestars S-MX R Boots - VentedThey are slightly under size-wise. I normally take a size 9, but the 9 1/2 is a near perfect fit. So comfortable I barely notice I'm wearing them.Easy to get into & out of, I like the upper toothed strap adjustment..
