Alpinestars Women's Stella Uptown Jacket

The Stella Uptown jacket combines an ultra modern, fashionable look with Alpinestars’ range of renowned protection and functionality features. The jacket brings a classic women’s winter jacket to the Stella range.

Features:

Constructed using a combination of 500 Denier quilted cordura combined with polyester mesh inserts positioned on the arms
Providing the ultimate in abrasion resistance, comfort and ventilation
The jacket benefits from a removable internal windstopper jacket liner, which can be worn separately providing extra insulation and comfort when used with the Stella Uptown jacket
YKK zippers allow for a comfortable, secure fit
The jacket features a host of safety features including Alpinestars range of CE approved armor located at the shoulders and forearm
Additional protection can be purchased by installing Alpinestars RC back protector into the specially constructed compartment
The jacket has a number of pockets which will allow ample storage of essential items
Stylish epaulets on the shoulders add to the design whilst a zip located at the base of the jacket allows connection to a range of Alpinestars textile and leather pants

Comments about Alpinestars Stella Uptown JacketI am a pretty small woman so most of the armoured jackets I tried on made me feel like an uncomfortable football player. This one is well protected at the shoulders and elbows and I bought a back pad to replace the foam one the jacket came with, but it still fits almost like a regular jacket so it's way more comfortable than anything else I tried and looks good, too. I haven't worn it in the rain yet so I don't know about weather resistance, and I always get cold so I layer up a lot underneath, but I would highly recommend this jacket. It's a good length - not too short or too long - and is really stylish with the quilting and military-feeling epaulettes etc. It doesn't have any vents so I'll be interested to see how it feels in hotter weather, too, but so far so very good.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
