  Comments about Arai Vector 2 Solid Helmet First off ordered Monday here by Wednesday, great job! Now the helmet...I was a little hesitant to fork out the bucks when my RF1000 has served me so well but after trying on the Qwest and discovering I was in between sizes (probably due to slightly rounder shape) I decided to try Arai. The RX-Q fit well (really nice) but the liner seemed not as plush so I decided to try the Vector-2. It arrived, put it on and perfect fit. After acquainting myself with the controls I headed out for the test, it was a very strong headwind and I was amazed at the aerondynamics, it's like there is no wind at all. Noise level is quieter than any other helmet I have tried, still gonna ride with plugs but it isn't bad without. Ventilation is out of this world compared to the Shoei, I may only complain when it gets cooler this fall. I tried different positions to see if I could get the 'duck' noise others (on web bike world) noted but not doing it for me. To summarize, Looks excellent, great build quality, lightweight and balanced. I think it will be Arai from now on for me. I urge you to try them first though, some say that they have a Shoei head or an Arai Head which I can understand now and Shoei makes very nice helmets too if that is your head shape.
