  Comments about Icon Field Armor Stryker VestI am a medium tall jacket size. So i ordered the S/M size. I thought that the back was the same length for all sizes. I was wrong. The 3XL has an extra back plate and covers my back better. But i am way to skinny to fit a 3XL. So it seams my options are buy 2 vests and use the back plate out of the 3XL and the chest plate out of a small or buy the 3XL and take it to a seams stress and have it taken in. :( Its to bad the back plate length is not in the size chart.

  Comments about Icon Field Armor Stryker VestI commute on Toronto highways and head down south to the good roads on long weekends, so I wanted a back protector that also had some chest protection and this fit the bill. I wear a JR Atomic 3.0 jacket and Alter Ego pants. Even though the jacket is pretty snug on me, it goes on perfectly fine over the Stryker vest, even without taking its own foam back pad out. I can still attach the back zipper between the jacket and pants, and it's reasonably flexible. It does make things a bit warmer, as the jacket's back vents don't work as well, but that's a small price to pay for protecting your spine. So in summary, it's quite comfortable and easy to wear, well priced (especially since it seems to have some fancy new type of armor), and it's certainly something I'll be thankful for if I crash.

  Comments about Icon Field Armor Stryker VestThis is a very nice protective piece, comfortable, and as breathable as you can get without sacrificing too much protection. Also looks slick although it is always under my jacket. The only downside I feel is that I would have liked the back protector to end a little higher on the shoulders than it currently does. I feel the area just below my neck and above/between my shoulder blades is lacking a bit of protection. Fits nicely under my textile jacket though, not overly bulky. Good for street and casual riding, but would not recommend for racing. Have not tried on other brands of protective vests/back protectors but I am very happy with this purchase.
