In the military they say a good pair of boots can make or break you. We set out to make the ultimate riding boots to battle the elements. The Patrol Waterproof boot will keep your feet comfortable and dry during the harshest conditions. The reinforced leather upper features internal ankle armor with a hidden ghilley lacing system for a secure fit with minimal fuss. The bottom unit features an internal steel shank for support with slip resistant rubber outsole for traction both on and off the bike. A rider in Florida went down wearing a similar boot design and the buckles protected his ankle very effectively. I commute 60 kms a day and won't commute without ATGATT. Great experience with the order and shipping as well.

Comments about Icon Patrol Waterproof BootsComfortable, good looking boots. Short ride and light rain ok. After two hours in moderate rain I had wet socks. Did not run in from the top of boot. Soaked though toe and top of foot. Not recomended as a rain boot. Water proofing spray may help.

Snug and even fit thanks to the lacing system. And they look great with a pair of jeans. They can be a bit slippery on wet pavement. Need to mindful of putting your feet down when coming to a stop.

I Didn't have any issues getting the boots on (wearing socks) like some of the other reviewers, just need to make sure the laces have been loosened all the way down.Construction is good with a very solid toe area, right amount of padding on the tongue, and well constructed straps to keep everything closed.Impression from the first ride this morning is that they feel very solid and inspire confidence. Was worried about shifting with brand new boots but everything lined up perfectly and the shifter nubs actually did a good job of adding that extra traction to make sure there was no dodgy gear changes.Really like the look of these boots too, nicely understated but not too plain. Very comfortable for walking around when not on the bike.Still to be tested in the rain but they definitely look like they are up for the job. [...]

I crazy glued it back on but thats pretty lame to happen first ride out. One of the buckles broke as well but it may have been something I did. Honestly though I would buy them again I probably just got a bad pair.

The day after being out in the rain, the outside is wet, but inside is dry. Good for back to back wet rides. The fit is small, so order a half size bigger than you would normally. Comfortable boot once you get the correct size. Good protection without the moon boot look.

They seem to be waterproof, but since they are not too tall up your leg, water can creep up the boot and in on long wet highway rides. I won't ride without them. Great boot for the price.

Comments about Icon Patrol Waterproof BootsThis is a professionallly well made boots.However the laces are too short and does not allow you to open the boots fully while inserting your feet. The correction should be to lenghten the laces to allow the inner flap to open fully. What I did was to cut out the bootm lace loop to extend the lenght of the straps and keep the laces joinef together.Shouldn't have to do this but was only option because I loved the fit of this boot.
