I've used this jacket most of the summer with the lining and without (depending on weather). I would say with the lining you are pretty good in any weather above about 5-10 degrees celcius with a hoodie underneathe.

  Comments about Joe Rocket Phoenix 10.0 Mesh JacketI was very impressed when I received this jacket albeit I was nervous about sizing. I ordered a large-tall and it was very true to its size while I seem to have to go up a size with other brands (Scorpion, Icon, etc.). The liner comes out nice and easy and the mesh is great for warm-weather riding... you get the protection without cooking alive in heavy gear. You would probably want some thermal gear under the jacket if you were going into extreme weather (0-5 celcius) as the liner isn't quite as heavy as some I have seen on other jackets but then I haven't tested this out yet (speculation).

  Comments about Joe Rocket Phoenix 10.0 Mesh JacketGreat Jacket, I'm 6'3" 185lbs and ordered a Large Tall. It fits well and allows me to wear a hoodie under it to keep warm. I haven't tested the liner in the rain but I put it in in the morning as I'm riding to the trails and then take it out to keep cool off road. The only drawback was that I had to but a few stitches through the shoulder pad and jacket to keep the pads from sliding around.

  Comments about Joe Rocket Phoenix 10.0 Mesh JacketThis is the perfect jacket for days when the thermometer pushes up towards 30 C. There is so much airflow that, other than the armour panels, it feels like I'm wearing a T-Shirt. This open mesh jacket provides less protection than a similarly armoured full leather model, but it provides infinitely more than bare skin. Its comfortable, although I found the medium a touch tight on my 38" shoulder/40" waist middle aged body. It looks good, with a fair amount of reflective piping, although I'd recommend a safety vest for extended after-dark rides. One note: there is so much airflow with this jacket that it can be chilly if the temperature drops below 20 degrees C and/or a cool wind picks up. So if you are riding out in the sun and back in the cooler evening, you might want to pack a light sweater in case it gets to be a bit too cool...

The Phoenix 10.0 is perfect for what i wanted, mesh,removable rain liner, light weight, but still offers the protection. I am very pleased with my purchase.

  Comments about Joe Rocket Phoenix 10.0 Mesh JacketThis is a great jacket that fits big, I wear Large everything but ordered a Medium and it fits perfect (6 foot 185lbs). The only issue I have is that the shoulder pads slide down into my arm and do not stay on the shoulder, it is missing a few stitches here I think. I am going to try and rig something up so they stay in place. I have yet to try the waterproof liner, but it looks like it will work.

  Comments about Joe Rocket Phoenix 10.0 Mesh JacketStyle and Comfort meet function. I feel safe and confident with anything mother nature can throw at me. This jacket keeps me warm on the Sea to Sky in British Columbia. Around town, I can zip out the nylon liner to keep cool, but, stay protected with the back protector, elbow pads and shoulder pads firmly in place. When rain is encountered (which is a lot in BC.) this jacket dries really fast. Buying from Canada's Motorcycle, I saved close to 40 % compared to buying from a retailer.
