They are light and comfortable...big issue for me with a wide, thick foot...size 46 vs normal 11 1/2 xwide. This is a shorty boot so protection is less than taller boots but this time comfort was primary.

  Comments about TCX X-Square All Purpose BootsThese boots literally fit like a well-worn pair of shoes, right out of the box. Even walked around town for a few hours on first day. Only a slight bit of tightness just above the shift pad; but I'm sure this will ease with time.Based on the reviews I read before purchasing these boots, I ordered one size smaller (8.5/42) than what I typically wear (9.5/43). I would recommend this practice to anyone considering these boots.Very good feel on the bike. Soles offer great grip on pegs and good feel of shifter and brake levers. Shifter pad nicely positioned.Overall, I really don't see any better options at this price point. Well-made, uber comfortable, toe/heel/maleolous protectors and steel shank sole for [$]? You can't go wrong...
